1980 International Scout II (Midas Edition)

Up for your consideration is a 1980 International Scout II (Midas Edition). It is up for a complete restoration and has minimal rust/minimal body damage. The shag carpet was removed and the floor is in great shape/all glass intact. Hatchback door in great shape and has new oleo struts. I have never had the top off. Replaced front grill with one in much better condition. The engine runs/drives in all gears (2wheel/4 wheel) but smokes like a rat after it warms up and needs overhaul. Included is a engine overhaul kit with SD33T engine manual and after market owners manual. Dana 44 front/rear axles with unknown gear ratio. This is a rare one so plan to bid accordingly. Total mileage unknown (shows 1800 or so). Recommend exploring International Scout on Wiki for some good info. This has the basis for a lucrative project!
