Here's the "Atomic Blast" 55 Chevy Gasser period correct in every sense of the word!
Brand new 402 cu in BBC, 10.5:1 forged pistons, rebuilt heads, Comp Cams 540 lift hydraulic cam, H-beam stock length roads, Wiand Tunnel Ram, Holley 650 CFM Carbs, Turbo 400 Trans, 3500 stall converter, Fairbanks shifter ; est 550 HP.
New semi-gloss paint on body, roof has been flaked and clear coated. All lettering is goldleaf and hand striped.
Real 15x11 Magnesium Halibrands on back with new 30x12.5-15 MT street slicks.
New diamond pleated interior, new carpet, headliner is near perfect. Sun greenline gauges and stars n stripes tach finish off the interior.
This 55 was an old drag car when I bought it (no history), but needed some love. This is the finished product. The only problem is I havent really done anything with it since. Its been done for almost 2 years and I've only had it on the street a few times and hit one show in Jersey. Definitely a crowd favorite. This will be one of the best gassers at any show.
The USA-1 plate and the skulls on the dash and mirror do not go with the car.
