In 1953 Willys Jeep Corporation licensed Mitsubishi of Japan to build copies of there CJ-3B Jeep. This is one of those Jeeps.

Very rare to find nice examples in the U.S. The J-55 is powered by a 2.7 Turbo Diesel engine which runs amazing. There’s no pumping the pedal, just hit the key….. and you’re running. It’s like a little farm tractor.

You know how well the Japanese vehicles are made.

All the lights, horn, triple windshield wipers, heater etc. all work! The body is very solid. Original floors are good. The paint looks pretty good and is a nice color. Kind of a Army green.

The Jeep still has its original “Jump Seats” in back which are great for taking grand kids around.

There’s a factory Roll Bar…and seat belts for front seats.

The Jeep comes with a Full Soft top and a set of full “Pull Off” doors. Oh…..and a Bikini Top. The Jeep has a nice set of Yokohama tires and the original Japanese license plate still on the front. So cool…..

Its right hand drive, 4 speed manual transmission that shifts easy and perfect! It has power brakes too.
