A 1928 Willys Overland Whippet 2 door coupe with a cloth top, Green with a tan interior. 44,000 original miles. A California car, last registered and on the road in 2013. It has been in indoor storage since. Produced by the Willys-Overland Co. of Toledo, Ohio, which traced its roots back to 1903 when it started producing Overland’s. The Whippet was introduced late in 1926 as a 1927 model to replace the Overland. It was named for the Whippet dog, intended to denote a vehicle that was small and swift. A very nice and straight body. The paint has cracks in many places due to age. A beautiful solid undercarriage as you can see in the pictures.

The interior is showing its age but is all there. The cloth top is in excellent condition.

Mechanically the car does not run due to sitting but the motor turns over freely by hand.

An excellent original car needing work.
