This 1949 Willys Overland Jeepster was acquired by the selling dealer in 2015 and is finished in yellow with a black upper section over black vinyl. A refurbishment has been carried out that included disassembly and refinishes of the frame and body, a refresh or replacement of chrome and stainless steel components, reupholstered seats and door panels, and installation of a new soft top, wiring, and electrical components along with mechanical work. Power is from an overhauled 134ci "Go Devil" inline-four paired with a three-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. This Jeepster is offered by the selling dealer with a top boot, an owner's manual, a parts catalog, First Prizes from the Antique Automobile Club of America and a binder of receipts. he Jeepster was designed by Brooks Stevens as a style-forward bridge between utilitarian Civilian Jeeps and conventional cars. The body on this example was removed from the frame and refinished in yellow with a black upper section. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, steps to access the rear compartment, a split windshield, and a replacement black vinyl top that can be seen both raised and lowered. The selling dealer reports that the brightwork was rechromed, polished, or replaced as needed. A top boot is included in the sale.
