1949 Willys Four Wheel Drive Jeepster
YES I know Willys never made a 4 WD Jeepster but we did. This car was built in the late 60”s By an engineer in Utah. It was almost completed when he passed away. I bought the car from the estate three years ago finished it here at the shop.
Its powered by a new 1965 Buick Wildcat 401 nailhead engine delivery 400 lbs of torque to the drive train. It has a 3 speed T-90 trans and a Warn all range overdrive. It has high /low range, 2wheel/4 wheel drive and power take off for the winch. The top and interior and carpet and side curtains are all new. The chrome is very nice and the paint good but not perfect. NO RUST EVER. It has all new brakes and new tires. It has a new Edelbrock 600 CFM carb New aluminum radiator, and the engine only has 300 miles on it for testing. This is truly a unique well designed, versatile Jeepster. It will climb mountains and pull down a tree as well as do highway speeds.
