This 1958 Willys CJ-5 is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven.

Vehicle Details

This is a 58 Willy’s CJ-5 Barn find I bought but just don’t have time to do what I want to it. I got it from out in PA in a barn and was just sitting for years. I did manage to get it running and drove it around the block. The plow is all original to the Jeep and is belt driven off the motor. Shifts good and 4x4 all go into gear smoothly. Items I recently replaced are the fuel lines, radiator, exhaust manifold, distributor points and cap along with spark plugs and wires. Items included but I never installed is a glovebox, ignition coil, and oil filter. The carb started leaking gas after I got it running and took it for a spin around the block. I rebuilt the fuel pump and carb but hasn’t run the same since. It may just need a new carb but just don’t have the time to give it the attention it needs. The frame is solid from what I can see but the underbody has rust and could use some repair. All in all this is a great all original Willys in great shape for its age. The last 2 owners only used it on their farm property from what I understand. Plow is fully functional. But the pump has a small leak (near a fitting I believe.
