Last year and only produced part way through the year, here we have a 1949 Willy's Flat Fender Jeep for sale out of Southern Arizona that would make a great restoration and/or collection candidate or leave as is and just get it driving as it has a lot of stories to tell. This Jeep has a clean title in my name with mileage listed as '78,347 Box A, Accurate'.Jeep is mostly complete and mostly original, it will need a few things that it is missing and as well, a complete restoration as it has been sitting at least since the 90's. There is a home made pull bar for traveling behind another vehicle on the front and a storage chest in the rear that the rear set is sitting on, other than that this Willy's is original and will not require work figuring out or undoing what someone else has done.Parts needed: Front driveshaft, gauges (or at least lenses and rebuilt), windshield glass, radiator, lights. The mechanical bits seem in pretty good shape and are known for being robust - should not take too much TLC to get going again, but I am not sure why it was parked to begin with. The biggest area of concern is in the body. In a few areas metal panels have been formed and welded over the original body and the sill corners have rust holes, there are many dents throughout. The rust areas are mostly flat so should be easy enough there, and where panels have been welded on, it appears they were for extra body protection or to cover up dents as I can not see traces of rust on the backside or around the areas. The floorboards, chassis, and other areas of the vehicle are rust free. The seats are not original to the vehicle however they are the proper seats needed and not currently bolted in. Wheels are likely an aftermarket set as they measure 15x9.5, they do fit this Jeep well though.Located in South Tucson, Arizona. Availability is M-F 9-4pm, will assist with shipping globally if needed. Deposit due with sale, remaining balance can be paid with cash at pickup, or done through eBay's payment processing system or Zelle. Feel free to ask questions; I also have a 1970 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan project for sale and a 1973 Ford F100 Limited 2wd Long bed 390v8 auto that has been restored but needs final touching up on to get it roadworthy again. Getting ready to move so clearing out some non-essentials.
