1961 Willys 1/2 Ton Pickup Additional Info:

Up for auction is a beautiful 1961 Willys 4 wheel drive Resto Mod Pickup 100% rust free and is in pristine condition. Truck has 21,942 original miles. Truck had 12,000 original miles in 1988 at the time of its restoration.

Truck was manufactured on 12-22-60 and was sold new by Monmouth Motor Dealership of Eatontown, NJ. The original owner purchased the pickup as a service truck for Marquarots Texaco in Freehold, NJ.

The gentleman that built this show truck purchased in 1988 and embarked on a multi year restoration. Transfer case and rear were completely rebuilt. A professionally built 283, 4 barrel carbureted 240 horse power motor was installed with a new automatic transmission with overdrive (Warn overdrive unit that converts the original 4.88 gears to 3.56 gears), dual exhaust, Bronco II power steering, Daytona steering tilt column wheel, Am/Fm cd player located in glove box.

The interior was completely upgraded with full vinyl door panels and headliner.

No expense was spared on this truck. It is a beautiful truck!!!! It is over the top!!!!

We purchased the truck from the estate of the gentleman who built this truck. It was his pride and joy and it shows. Since it was completed it has been stored in a climate controlled facility.

Truck is a true pleasure to drive. This truck gets plenty of attention when ever its shown.
