1949 Willys Overland Jeepster Chrome Additional Info:

This was the220 th Jeepster restored, by Jeepster Jim of Florida, and no expense was spared on this Concours quality frame-off restoration. The interior and top is new, as well as the top boot and side curtains. The gauges have been restored and calibrated. The entire car was stripped to bare metal and undercoated. The body has 3 coats of primer, then 2 coats of Dupont base coat, and 3 coats of high-quality Dupont clear coat that was cut and buffed between coats. The frame is all undercoated. The L-134 engine was blueprinted and balanced, and the original 3 speed, with overdrive, was completely rebuilt. Nothing was compromised during this restoration, right down to every nut and bolt. It has new Coker tires, new hub caps, beauty rings, and wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake lines, shocks, battery, fuel pump, clutch, pressure plate, plugs and wires, main bearings, rebuilt crank, rod bearings, pistons, rings, cam, valves, guides, valve seals, gaskets and seals, and all-new exhaust. It runs great. All the chrome is show quality and complete. The steering wheel is new, as well as all of the glass and rubber. The wiring is completely new and color-coded to factory specs. This Jeepster is priced well below the current restoration cost for this quality or restoration. The current wait time to have a Jeepster restored by Jeepster Jim is almost 2 years. We have restored over 250 Jeepsters for clients and museums around the world. This car is perfect and ready to win shows.
