COSMETIC
  • Paint/Body:What a sweet looking wagon! The lines on this body are straight and sharp. The paint we would say is driver quality with some scratches, fading and normal pops. She's had some minor body work done but nothing serious. No rust to speak of on the body. Overall she's a beauty with some minor flaws that you would expect from a 15 year old restoration.
  • Interior:The interior was redone with the restoration in 2007. Therefore there are some spots and pealing in some areas. The headliner has some stains that with another good wash would most likely come out. The seats are in great condition as are the door panels. The carpet is older but still clean. The wood rails in the back look awesome! Spare tire in the rear matches the new wheels. Dash is sharp, no cuts or scratches. Overall an older but still nice looking interior!
  • Glass/Windows:All the glass is in great condition. The original panes have some minor bubbling which is common for the age. The windows roll up and down with ease.
  • Trunk/Bed:The backs of these wagons are one of our favorite parts of these vehicles. The clam shell tail gate is so cool. It opens and closes nicely. All the locks and hinges are clean and functional. The bed has been used for some work around the farm where we bought it but cleaned up very well. The wood rails are in great shape and look sweet!
  • Undercarriage:It is always a treat when we get to say rust free vehicle! This is one of those times. During all of our inspections cleaning her up, we have not found any rust on the body, frame or panels underneath. The gentleman we purchased her from garage kept her and it shows! Beautiful undercarriage really shines. Incredible condition; rockers look great, original floor pans are clean, and so is the rear end. Step sides and fender wells are sharp. The rubbers and bolts underneath are all new during the restoration.
  • Wheels/Tires:Brand new wheels. Older BF Goodrich tires have some minor weather cracking but lots of life left in them with plenty of tread.
MECHANICAL
  • Drivetrain:This girl drives awesome. The 250 6 Cylinder upgrade starts right up and runs strong. The manual transmission shifts through all gears smoothly. She drives pretty straight down the road but could potentially use an alignment.
  • Lights/Electrical:The headlights, taillights, turn signals, and brake lights are all working. None of the gauges are hooked up nor is the horn.
  • Brakes:Manual brakes stop straight and strong. All the brake lines and discs were replaces with the restoration in 2007.
