1947 Willys CJ2A Additional Info:
1947 Willy's CJ2A 4x4, the CJ2A needs no introduction. If you are looking at my old Willy's I am sure you know what you are looking at. I really enjoy taking this Willy's to Jeep events around my section of the country, it sure gets the looks and draws a crowd. It's off-road capabilityis second to none. Nothing better than slowly creeping around a stuck $50,000 Rubicon on a trail. This one has the more powerful F-Head 134CI Hurricane motor out of a '54 which makes it much more enjoyable to drive and it runs / shifts great, starts right up. Everything works as it should with the exception of the fuel gauge that seems to have a mind of its own. You can clearly look into the filler tube though and see how much fuel you have. It is showing 36,201 miles on the odometer although it is hard to say if it is not 136,000. It comes with these reverse seats out of a old Subaru Brat that we used for parades and are easily removable and installable as well as a roll bar that is currently out of it. I never installed the roll bar but it comes with the CJ. It is rust free, mechanically sound and leaks a little oil but I never met a CJ that didn't. There are a few small chips and scratches here and there but looks good and I like it this way. I have a restored Dodge Charger that I rarely drive, always worrying about where to park it and so forth, the CJ is more fun. I bought another Jeep project or I wouldn't be selling it.If you bid, you are bidding to buy.You are most welcome to view this car before bidding and auctions end. Call / text me anytime to make a time and or with any and all questions. I think that about covers all I can think of, I am going to include a boat load of pictures. Although once you bid, you are bidding to own not come take a look at it. I have sold a ton of vehicles, all 100% feedback because I hope that you can say you never met a more stand up guy? But that being said I have had a few bad apples on the other end over the years and won't tolerate BS. $500 non refundable deposit due at auctions end (within 24 hours) via Pay Pal. Buyer responsible for picking up and or having the car shipped. If you do not have the money in hand and immediately available do not bid. If you have a sick family member that may take a turn for the worse, same thing, refrain from bidding. It's a shame I have to say these things, which to me are common sense, but after selling cars on here for almost twenty years, nothing ever surprises me. It is for sale locally and I have the right to end the auction at any time. Travis at 412-974-6789.
