Up for bid is a near mint condition 1948 CJ2A Willys Jeep. Only 5,938 miles since fully restored 10-15 years ago! Photo album of full restoration process comes with the Jeep. Replacement body utilizing original hood, windshield, and tailgate. All new wiring with original 6 volt electrical system. Original chassis and powertrain that runs like a sewing machine! Does not burn any oil. Shifts great. Drives great. Tires good. Brakes good. Added bonus is original equipment, fully operational PTO drive wheel on the back! Recent improvements include new clutch, starter, battery, and carburetor overhaul. We have loved taking evening drives around southern California, and going to car shows. Has minor drivetrain leak, and a few minor scuffs and paint chips from where spare tire used to be mounted on the side. This vehicle has been kept in a controlled environment protected from sun and rain. The only reason we are selling it is that our kids are getting older, and want to pursue other hobbies. We will miss our Willys!
