This 1954 Willys M-170 is a military ambulance that was acquired from a private collection 16 years ago and has been in my hands since then, I have two and need room. This M-170 was built in 1954 as a Ambulance Chassis which is 20" longer then the standard M38. The interior features a driver's seat with olive canvas, two stretchers and additional lighting and storage compartments.
The engine and transmission have been serviced in our shop. The odometer shows about 2,500 miles but I have to believe the odometer may have been replaced. I have seen M-170s with low millage though.
The Jeep is equipped with 24-volt electrics and a waterproof ignition system.
This is truly a great example of a hard to find M170 military vehicle in this condition. It is ready for all your summer activities.
Thank you for bidding.
Vehicle is being sold as is, where is, without warranty.
