1955 Willys Model 39 Truck Additional Info:
Selling my 1955 Willys Pickup. I am retired and it was my winter project to restore it back to some of its glory. It has a rebuilt Chevy 350 TBI motor with the Muncie 4 speed, Dana 44 front axle and Dana 53 in the rear. Motor runs strong, clutch, tranny, and Hi Lo Transfer case operate smoothly. It has upgraded front leaf springs, a baffled gas tank, electric fuel pump, new fuel and brake lines. It has been a long time Montana truck so the body and chassis were very solid to begin with. After prepping the body I applied Durabak 18 Bedliner Coating. It is the Best coating available and came tinted in a Dark Olive. It looks great with the New 35 inch Super Swamper Tires on Ultra Rims with Dualtech Lockout Hubs. Other new items are: Starter and Solenoid, Battery, Original Steering Wheel with Center Cap, Drivers seat was professionally rebuilt and covered, and a new window crank, and fresh oil and filter. Frame is very solid and clean underneath. All the glass is very good. Truck is clean and nice, but certainly not perfect. Hopefully the photos will show everything. Just noticed the directional aren't blinking and the dome light isn"t working. I'll check it out. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to come see it or any other particular photos. The current tires are not recommended for highway speeds so you would need to get it trailered if any distance is involved. I have just used it around town as my Grocery Getter. It needs to get dirty. I can store it here in my secure shop until picked up and help with loading and locating a hauler if you need help. I already fixed the blinkers and dome light, it was just a loose fuse
