1941 Willys Gasser 632 BIG BLOCK CHEVY. EFI HILBORN JERICO 850 FT. LB Additional Info:
THIS WILLYS started life at SCOTTS RODS in Ohio and was used as the feature car for their brochure and toured at the2014 Meltdown Drags.
WIZEGUYS ROD & CUSTOM in Jonesboro TN is credited with the highly detailed build on this Willys, work performed extensive wiring for all Auto meter gauges and clock with a GPS speedometer, stainless steel brake lines, interior metal work and interior panel assembly with dyna-mat, 9 inch Strange rearend and suspension, fuel tanl modifications (to accommodate S&W wheely bars),cooling system was installed using a 3 pass aluminum radiator with Spal twin fans. This was a 3 year build. The BB chevy 632 hasn't shown the need to even use the dual fans but if need they're there, I'm a firm believer in "over kill" in performance and safety.
The engine was built by PERFORMANCE AUTOMOTIVE in Greenville TN using World products aluminum heads and Iron Merlin block, Hydraulic roller cam, 10 quart pan Joe Hunt mag crank trigger, every FI component was from Alky Digger in Nashville TN. with the supervision of Andy Starr EFI Hilborn engineer utilizing Weldon pumps, billet fuel filter, manual fuel and electrical cutoffs for safety and anti-theft.
Only the major aspects of this one-of-a-kind Willys gasser will be covered, if you have any specific questions please inquire. at four 2 three 306 2354 .q`
The motor is a 632 cubic inch big block Chevy with a EFI Hilborn injection that develops 850 foot pounds of torque at 4400 RPM with an investment of $25,000. in the engine and Hilborn FI system alone with more than 820 foot pounds of torque at below 3500 RPM on Dyno.
TheJerico transmission is equipped with Road Race sliders. with a 2.20 1st gear which allows this amount of torque to get to the ground without hazing the period correct 12.00 x 15 Radir pie crust slicks on American aluminum wheels. The wheels are painted to simulate magnesium taking advantage of strength of newer aluminum over magnesium. If needed I have a pair of original 15 x 10 magnesium 5 spoke American mags that look identical to the wheels on the car that can be purchased at an very reasonable price with purchase of Willys.
The rear end is a 9-inch Ford Strange Engineering heavy duty housing with 31-spline axles with a 3.70 ratio NASCAR ring and pinion and G Force Locker, in an aluminum bolt thru case connected to chrome S&W ladder bars and S&W wheely bars with an engine turn finish.
The photos don't do the Willys justice, the color is a large metal flake imbedded in the gel-coat which has a durable heavy clear over the green metal flake that has primarily silver flake with a slight amount of gold flake.
I would accept a Big Block Mid-year 65-67 Corvette as trade.
