For Sale 1937 Willys Model 37 Sedan. This vehicle is in very good condition with no rust and no apparent accident damage. The body is all steel with no filler or patch panels. The floors are rust free and solid. There is no rust in the bottoms of the doors, the running boards, or the rocker panels. It has had mild restoration done to it over the years. The seats were recovered in the original cloth pattern and there is some minor wear, but the seats are firm and supportive. The headliner is the original and it is serviceable, but there is some staining and a small hole above the passenger side windshield. The engine starts right up and runs strong. It has a newer muffler and exhaust pipe installed. The brakes function perfectly and the car tracks straight going down the road. It has the original 3 speed transmission. It shifts smoothly. The paint is the original Limelight Blue, with some minor touchup over the years. There is a small amount of checking of the paint on the lower deck lid and rear fenders. Overall, this is a mint condition time capsule of the Willys for 1937. This was the precursor to the famous Americar, and in all respects except the front sheet metal, it is an Americar. These are exceedingly rare in this original condition. Most have been converted to dragsters and street rods. This is an opportunity to own a classic in its original form.
Mileage almost certainly exceeds the odometer reading of 96,028.7 miles. There are spare parts included, such as a new wiring harness, a spare fuel filter, spare oil filter, and other pieces. The chrome is in surprisingly excellent condition. The headlights do not work. All other systems of the car work as intended. All gauges work, and a previous owner added a temperature gauge. The tires are all in good condition. It has the original 6 volt electrical system. A fresh battery is installed and it starts on the first try, with a little choke. The hood latch and door and trunklatches will need some attention, as they latch with some difficulty, but they can be adjusted to work smoothly.
