Up for auction is my 1948 Willys CJ2A. It runs well, turns and stops about as well as a CJ2A can, and all the four wheel drive stuff works.
You can see from the pictures that a lot of work has been done on the Willys, most of it by the prior owner. There are a few areas on the body that will need some attention to be perfect, but I have not found any bondo on it at all. Paint is decent and the underside is pretty clean, so I would guess the prior owner had the body off at some point.
The Willys came with a bunch of parts when I got it. Some of the parts, like new front leaf springs, need to be installed. Other parts, like a complete seal kit, could be installed, but it has not leaked enough oil for me to bother with it. Came with new clutch parts, but since the current one has worked fine for me, I have not messed with it.
Prior owner converted it to 12V, but I have the 6V generator if you want it.
Tires still have the nubs on them.
Texas title in my name. It is bonded, as a prior owner could not find the title (happens a lot with old vehicles), but in Texas the bonded part drops off the title in three years, so it should be close to being dropped off.
If the car needs to be shipped, I will be happy to meet the shipper as long as it is within a few miles of my house. The cash will have to be in my hand or the wire cleared my bank account before I release the car, of course.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need more pictures.
Thanks and happy bidding.
