This is a 1940 Willys Coupe with a rare and highly desirable 392 Chrysler "Blown" Hemi engine, rebuilt barely 200 miles ago, with a modified 518 Chrysler manual transmission. Odometer showing just 23,500 miles. The list of features and mods is extensive and includes:
Fiberglass body made by Outlaw Performance with a one piece tilt front end and deluxe '40 Willys Stainless trim with twin 40 grilles. Front-end tilt mechanism owner designed and fabricated. Dupont Chrome one Single Stage black paint by Steve Hatcher.
The interior has classic instruments 4 in 1 cluster with separate speedo, vintage a/c with defrost, All American Auto Upholstery red leather and black carpet. Glide Engineering split bench seat, ididit tilt column w Lecarrar Banjo wheel, Lokar pedals, Eclipse CD tuner head unit with Eclipse shotgun disc changer
Weiand intake and 6-71 Weiand polished blower running @8.1, 2-70 cfm Holley double pumpers, Ross Forged pistons 8.5 to 1 bored .030"over Howard's flat tapper hydraulic cam .505" lift / .292 degree @ zero, Stock crank turned .010"/.010" and stock rod shot peened and magnified, heads parted intake 1.060: - exhaust 1.88", Taylor 8mm coil wound spark plug wires, customer fender well headers w ceramic coating, Stainless Specialties 3" Hi-Po-flow mufflers, Be Cool aluminum radiator with twin 11" cooling fan assembly.
The engine was rebuilt top to bottom. Also done was a new camshaft, rods, lifters, springs, bearings, gaskets, distributor and oil pump.
