1948 Willys Additional Info:
This is a hybrid Willys that was restored using a CJ2A body and chasis and a WWII era MB front and top frame. It has the never made again WWII grill and lights positioning.
It cold starts first try every time. The restored original L head Go-Devil engine runs smooth with its original carburetor. A brand new starter was recently installed. It drives and brakes straight and turns as designed. 4-wheel-drive is fully operational and the transfer case has been recently pulled and re-sealed. Axle shaft, TO case, up and pinion have been resealed too. New oil pan, ead and valve cover gaskets.
All instruments, witches and lights are operational (including black-out lights). Converted to 12 volts. Discrete seat seat belts and master switch installed for safety.
Five almost new military style tires.
All cushions and seat covers have been recently replaced with cotton canvas in original OD green. The military style soft top has been just replaced as well.
Correct WWII markings and plenty of accessories.
A tow bar (included) can be easily mounted for long distance trips.
Jeep has participated in WWII history exhibition.
Title and registration from the State of Florida.
