Hi, For sale is a 1964 Jeep Gladiator 4x4 pickup truck that is slightly modified from original. Chevy 350 v-8 is adapted to the oem 3 speed manual tranny. Very unique vehicle, the bed is from a dodge little red express truck that they made for a few years in the late 70 s. and has pressure treated wood, metal bed strips and the front panel and rear tailgate is custom made from heavier gauge steel than oem.,so no logos or names on tailgate. custom rollbar and bumpers also set the truck apart.I believe it is lifted several inches

Power steering and power drum brakes, all new shocks, , custom interior,

also have sliding rear window that is included.

Drivetrain: 350 chevy v8 with edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb.mated to oem 3 speed manual tranny,dana transfer case with lockout hubs, front and rear axlesare oem. Dual exhaust comes out before tires.

Motor runs strong and has modifications, cam, good condition, no noises or problems. the tranny shifts all gears and clutch works nice, 4x4works as well.

Body: Nice red paint that is twenty years old,some scratches on hoo, was stored inside long term until now. Doors open and shut good, all glass is good,straight body with no dents or outer rust, the previous owner did some floor work and custom body panels to bed as described earlier with bumpers and roll bar.Rear taillights new and wired to frame wiring harness.This is a solid truc, but not rust free, has had some cab work done in past. includes pair doors and hood also for spares. Won't find another one this cool or this stance. Most came with flat fleetside bed that is not as stylish.

Interior: Cloth bucket power seats in great shape,with center console,gauge package, radio, sunroof, nice dash, AMC steering column from car i believe, custom door panels, handles and more.

Frame is very solid and many items have been gone through, all new wheel cylinders, flex lines with steel lines to brake system, all shocks new, leaf springs were all replaced long ago and rears are heavy duty.

Overall a neat truck minor project to finish.

What truck needs is wiring to finish and a fuel tank, drives and runs i have not had time to get to it, but the fuel fill is mounted on drivers side rear fender and fill cap painted same color as truck so not a hard job as the truck is roomy in rear so a good size tank can be installed. The wiring is old and needs going over, front lights, wipers work, rear lights not hooked u, but wiring is installed from rear lights to front frame area. I want to use the column ignition instead of dash key, So if i was to cotinue on truck that is what my plans were to install new dash wiring harness and column ignition .

Please be serious about the truck if you are to bid, i do not have to sell but would like to see it completed by jeep or truck enthusiast, you will have a head turning 4x4 ! Easy to work on and previuos owner had it inside stored for over twenty years and this is were it as left at so not a lot to do.
