1953 Willys Pick-up Two Tone with Stainless Steel and Chrome Additional Info:

As seen on the cover of “Vintage Truck” magazine, November/December 2010. Also featured in the 2009 Jeep Classic Calendar for the month of December.
This 1953 Willys pickup was restored from the frame up. Every part was rebuilt or replaced where needed. It has the original 6 volt system with of course all new wiring. Some of the major restoration included new leaf springs, and tires. The frame was sand blasted and repainted. Both axles, transmission, engine, carburetor, and differentials were rebuilt. New window glass and seals were installed. The bed was beyond repair and a new replica bed manufactured in the USA was purchased and installed. We tried to keep it as original as practical but added turn signals and lap belts for safety. The lap belts can be stored behind the bench seat for show. It is stout and rides like a new truck. With the overdrive, I’ve had it up to 65 mph. It likes to cruise around 50 mph.
This truck is a real head turner! Just driving down the road you will get many looks and thumbs up. We attended about 3 dozen local shows over two summers and brought home trophies from 95% of them. One was “Best of Show” and several “Best in Class”. I have a basement wall full of them. This beautiful truck has been stored inside, under cover. The cover is custom made and included in the sale. This has been my favorite restored vehicle and is only for sale because I am downsizing my toy collection.
