1971 Volvo Other Additional Info:
1971 Volvo 1800Originally a Texas car. I believe the car has had one repaint still in good condition with some chips and some minor bubbling near left windshield corner. Code 46 always looks good.Rust free other than some spots near gas tank (shown)and on the bottom of the battery box. Pretty minor. Mileage is unknown. I assume between 100-200,000.Recent work includes new rotors/brakes, master cyl,new/used vac booster, new springs, Bilstein shocks, IPD poly front end bushings, IPD front sway bar (rear also included not installed) and new/used steering box. All fluids changed. So mechanically the car is pretty good. Overdrive works fine. Tires are almost new but have sat a lot over the last 5 or so years. The next adventure was to be the interior. Seats & headlinerare very good. Doors need the original arm rests sourced. Not easy. I have aused wood graindash inlay set (included) to replace the err...very striking rally inlay. This is an easy job. Gauges are ok but tach jumps around. Obviously the clock doesn't work. Temp gauge works but I like the mechanical gauge. Thermostat is a 160 F and the carruns cool. Carpeting needs to be redone with originals. This is a good car that someone could have fun finishing up or drive as is. I am open to answering any questions via ebay or my cell. Feel free to contact me. Kim at 603-762-2452. Reserve is under my investment.
