Affectionately referred to as the Swedish Tank for it's durability. In 1965 won the European Rally Championship Series - in Safari Rally in Kenya. It's ability to survive incredible rough terrain and heat have given Volvo long standing reputation for building exceptional reliable and robust cars like this gem. Current owner bought car a few years ago and sorted the issues out. She is in excellent condition. Paint freshened and in excellent shape. Motor pulled and sent to machine shop less than two hundred miles ago. new crank and push rods, fly wheel, clutch, throwout bearing. Carbs rebuilt, new brake pads, new tires. the glass and interior although original stock in very good to excellent condition. second set of gauges added when six volt system changed to a twelve volt system.
