1962 Volvo PV 544 Coupe Additional Info:
This 1962 classic Volvo was purchased new in California and remained in Southern California and Sacramento throughout the course of it’s life. Prior to storing, the B18 engine was overhauled along with some other mechanical improvements. I am listing this vehicle for the owner who can no longer operate the vehicle. However, I did not end up listing the car for about a year and spent that time finding out more about it. Since the vehicle was not in use for a rather long period, there were some maintenances completed during the last year including: new spark plugs, new ignition wires, new fuel pump, new fuel filters, new water pump, new distributors component, oil and filter, new air filters. New Swedish headliner, new original interior including door panels, new original tail light lenses, new head lights guards. I misplaced the door key and am still trying to find it. During the previous restoration IPD sway bars and some other parts were installed as well. Paint is still shiny but it dose have some minor imperfections. there are pictures of the inside doors and roof which is solid and acoustic liners have been installed. Bumpers are good as seen in the pictures and it looks nothing is missing since car was manufactured. I cannot verify the mileage like many other classics but according to the mechanic who has worked on it, the engine is in excellent condition with very high compression. For those interested in California, please check with DMV if there are any fees due! At this time, the car fires right up and the clutch is strong. Tires look very rich and all emblems are intact. Please be informed that I tried to the best of my knowledge and ability to describe the vehicle as properly as possible, however please check all pictures and ask any and all questions you may have prior to engaging in the bidding process. I did my best to be clear and not to over explain the car due to a strange set of standards some people have, however this is NOT a project car by any means. Even though all classics might have room for little improvements, I drove the car yesterday one more time going up the hill strongly and as always received lots of compliments and countless thumbs ups.
Thank you for reading and best of luck!
