This 1994 940 Turbo Sedan is in spectacular condition.
It has been very well maintained and previously garaged. Being a Florida car, It's completely rust-free. The car has recently received a paint correction and carpet extraction.
This incredible example of a classic turbo Volvo drives wonderful, the handling is very tight and smooth.
To my knowledge, everything works on the car. It has been my daily driver for quite some time and I hate to see it go. I purchased the matching OEM plastic floor mats, but aftermarket cloth ones are included as well.
I have a full history report & service records dating back to the previous owner that I can provide if requested. The car was leased from new until 1997 and has always been kept in magnificent shape. I have always ran premium fuel and synthetic oil through it, as recommended by Volvo.
The Good-
-Nordic Package (Incl. Heated Front Seats, Dual Heated Power Mirrors, Outside Temperature Gauge)
-Timing belt replaced 147k
-Rebuilt alternator, new radiator, harmonic balancer & replaced multiple worn hoses 153k (Oct. 2017)
-Replaced water pump 154k (Jan. 2018)
-Power seat is fully functional
-Newer battery (Feb. 2018)
-Passenger and Rear seat leather is in wonderful condition and always conditioned.
-Ice cold AC
-Power antenna
-Kenwood radio w/ AUX input
Known issues-
-Drivers seat leather has seen better days. I was intending on having this redone, but I have too many Volvos and I need to downsize.
-Small dent on right passenger door that is hard to see and is easily repairable.
-Sunroof works, however the switch only works occasionally due to age and needs to be replaced.
-The infamous 900-Series problem. Gas gauge only works intermittently due to a most likely original factory sending unit. My 960 has the same issue and I just use the trip meter to keep track of my gas milage.
