1973 Volvo 1800 Additional Info:

I bought this wonderful and rare classic car one year ago from the second owner, she had stored this car the last 26 years in her dry garage. In 1991 they tired to sell it after they made a full service and repainted the car, but the car was not selling so they stored it. My plan was to bring the car back to a perfect condition because it gets harder and harder to find this rare Volvo models in that great condition. This car is not just a solid driver, it can get quickly turned into an real valuable collectors car.
I first checked if the engine is mechanically healthy, it was, so I started and replaced a lot of gaskets, all filters and fluids, lots of ignition parts, waterpump and hoses, fuel pump and fuel lines and brake hoses. I sent the fuel injectors to doc. injector to get them complete redone, they are like new now. I also installed new hood insulations. The engine is running fine again and the transmission shifts smooth. The paint job they have done around 1991 was not perfect, there are some imperfections and not everything was masked perfectly but overall the paint is nice and shiny. I checked the complete body with a light magnet, there is no body filler underneath the paint, the car was never in an accident and there was never any body repair. There are 2 minor rust issues, one super tiny hole on the battery tray and the trunk flange was rusted on the lower corners. I repaired the trunk flange with aluminum sheet I bonded in, this was just an temporary fix to preserve the situation and have the flange rebuilt for holding the new sealing perfect in place (you can see it on the picture with the open trunk), my original plan was to get that professionally repaired when I bring the car with me to Europe. The interior is in nice condition, the door trims are nice, the dash is nice except on crack behind the steering column. The gauges are nice and work, the headliner is nice, the sunvisor mountings are cracked, the front seat trim is cracked, the rear seat trim is perfect.
The car is equipped wit factory AC, it works but need an refill. The car is equipped with the super rare Dunlop Volvo wheels and have brand new tires.I have a ton of documentation like original Volo service book with one entry at 48000miles, documentation of regular services and couple of repairs.

I sell the car because I bought another classic car and don't have the time and space for both.
If you have any questions let me know.
The buyer is fully responsible for the pick up and transportation.
