1967 Volvo 122s Amazon Estate Wagon Additional Info:
1967 Volvo 122s Amazon Station Wagon. Has air conditioning (134A) & overdrive transmission. (5- speed) B-18 motor with under 50,000 miles. (not a rebuild). 2 electric cooling fans for hot summer days when using air conditioning. Stock AM radio with optional FM adapter from 1967 when fm first came out. Original jack, spare tire and owners manuals. I have enjoyed years of driving this to summer car shows and cruises where it always gets compliments and good conversation. It is a basic very simple car, easy to work on and maintain with basic mechanical skills. Has been dependable and a pleasure to drive for me. Over the years I have installed new brakes, timing gear, complete clutch, water pump, u-joints & carrier bearing, motor mounts, etc. Most of the common wear items. Original 122s estate wagons are very hard to find. Restored 122 Wagons bring 20K +. This is a 50 year old original unrestored car in remarkable condition for its age. The windshield has a small crack, the gas quage is not accurate below 1/4 tank, sometime the choke sticks and I open hood and push up choke, the bucket seats need recovering and the back seat needs a cap on the top. One headlight Bucket is rusted ( available in fiberglass, rear bumperette has rust and the cross brace between gas tank and rear bumper has rust. The floors are good. There was a small amount of rust around passengers rear fender arch. I had it cut out and the new Swedish steel replacement professionally welded in. (Pictures available) Faded patina repaint. I have tried to describe the Amazon as accurately as possible. I will email detailed pictures per your request to serious buyers with long excellent feedback. Please do not ask nonsence questions which I will not respond to or bid unless you have great & long eBay history. You could probably fly in and drive home. However, I would realistically advis, bring a toolbox and Manuel . IT IS A 50 YEAR OLD UNRESTORED CAR. Thank You.
