1992 Volvo 740 wagon Additional Info:
This is a fully functional all original and daily driver 1992 Volvo 740 turbo charged wagon. It has the intercooler and the turbo boost and power are good. The interior is very nice with good headliner, nice tan leather seats with no rips or tear, good carpet and intact door pockets. The exterior red is also very nice with just a few door dings and a couple of very small clear coat failures. Tires have plenty of wear. This car has been meticulously maintained by me for 14 years and before that by the Volvo dealership in Charlotte NC with regular oil changes, transmission fluid and brake fluid flushes and all other recommended maintenance.
The car has every option available to the 740 that year including 100 amp alternator, alloy wheels, electric sunroof and seat heaters which currently need new elements to work. The radio has been updated to include CD play, USB and 3.5 mm aux input. The AC was converted to R134 and is ice cold. I have the clean title in hand.
The bad: car has the common 91-92 capacitor issue affecting only the speedometer which registers up to 45 MPH but no higher. Everything else in the cluster is fully functional. As mentioned the seat heaters do not work. The rear window defroster has a break in the grid and does not work.
Overall this is a very fine example of the last year of the Volvo 740 and there can't be too many like this left out there. The engine runs strongly and transmission shifts smoothly and anybody within driving distance is encourage to and test drive.
