Hi All,
Up for auction is my project 1986 Volvo 240 dl... great car in red with tan interior... I just purchased this just over a month ago with the intentions of restoring this low mileage classis. Please read the whole listing and ask questions so expectations are understood. I use this car everyday right now... it drives fine and many of the little things work, like the clock, plus all the normal stuff..wipers lights heat (noisy) rear window defrost, etc. Needs some rust work in the floor pans and rockers. Speedometer has started acting jumpy the last few days, not sure if it is the cold, but its weird. Purchased at 68K now at 69150... will need exhaust work. Has a/c not sure if it works....
Interior is nice with no significant stains, drivers seat is not the same material as all the rest, dash has cracks, glove box needs attention. Manual windows locks are power with key and work.. Glass is all fine...I love these cars and is the 2nd one I have owned and like I said was going to repair rust and get paint..but my son picked 2 weeks ago to crash is car...and my funds are going to replace his car...so this has to go...I am starting this out at way less then I have in it, just need to move it so I can get $$ for my boys car..
Tires @50% brakes stop straight,
Thx ..please ask questions. yes it is tagged and inspected in Delaware, tag expired in July 2017 so if you are a del resident...plate stays...if not bring your own tags...like I said this cars drive fine. I drive my 3 daughters to school every morning and just last week drove it a couple hundred miles round trip into Jersey..no issues, no overheating no dash lights on....perfect drive while you repair...
one picture shows dash when car turned 69K yes, as you can see, driving at 60 mph no lights on dash...really does drive nice.
thx...please ask questions.
