This is a 1971 P1800e project car that I have owned for 28 years. I drove it daily for 10 years but due to a lifestyle change (I bought an old farm with an old house and truck) the car was stored for the last 17 years in a barn awaiting a complete interior overhaul. It is now in a storage unit. I never got to it and cannot do any work on it now due to health issues. The mileage is original and the engine was running (needs a tune-up, minimum, but probably more attention) and the transmission, clutch and overdrive were all working perfectly. I have not and will not attempt to start this vehicle because, as stated above, I have too many medical issues to deal with and cannot work under the hood or under the car itself. I had the Volvo checked by a restoration company that told me there would be at least a year's wait before they could even begin so I declined their service. When I said I'd sell it for parts the restoration people said that the car was a good candidate for restoration and was nowhere near to being a parts car. I am not an expert and am stating only what I know. The floors have a couple of soft spots and some rust (so I am told. I have not been under the car except to hold an iPhone for pictures) and the interior is a complete mess. I have a model correct replacement dashboard in decent condition and a pile of trim that I think is complete but I have not inventoried. Also, a radiator and a few other parts will be included. There are some small rust spots on the body in the usual places. Winning bidder will pay for shipping or pick-up. I can help with organizing times for pickup but that is all. This car is vintage and will require work and so is sold as-is with no guarantee or returns but could be a great car if given lots of TLC.
