This 1963 Volvo PV 544 was bought in Long Beach about 10 years ago and was thenhauled to Oregon. The former owner had stored itfor a long period of time in a garage prior to that. The car starts, uns and drives fine and handles like a low mileage vehicle. The B 1800 engine was in good but not running shape when bought.Internally only the valves needed adjustment. The compression is 120dry and 125 wet plus or minus 5psi across all cylinders. Both SU carbshave been balanced but really need to be rebuilt. Transmission works well but a little sloppy inthe H pattern,(not Gear or Syncros)Clutch is good brakes have been replaced and the tires are near new.Rear shocks, oly bushings and limiter straps replaced. Front end bushings replaced, very thing else was OK.The unibody is not rusted out though you will find some very small spots. Paint is glossy for the most part and rust protective otherwise is a pretty cheap jobTitled registered and occasionally driven for these past years There has beento many improvements to remember over the years but the improvements have been madewith OEM or stock parts.Please look closely at the pictures then E Mail with your phone number and I will call and answer all your questions.
