EXCELLENT 1970 BAJA BUG RUNS GREAT

1970 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic BUG Additional Info:

This is a great Baja Bug. The fiberglass fenders, and other parts standard for a Baja Bug are in great shape. The paint is good but not perfect. No dents, tires 80%, engine runs like new, engine top end rebuild 400 miles ago. New muffler. installed horn, 12 volt outlets, new spare tire and jack. I purchased the car for $ 3,500 and added $500 in improvements includes a tow bar and magnetized lights for rear during tow. Radio works OK but not great. Interior good shape. Turn signals work fine, new dim/bright light switch under dash. Car is in great shape, very dependable street legal. Selling as is no warranty, but no worries that I know of. Completely functional transmission and brakes. The rear tires are a little larger with a more radical tread pattern. The sizes are: Rear 235/75 R15 and Front 215/75 R15
Selling for 4,000 I have in it, less $100 to replace speedometer cable/OBO.
TERMS: $500 Non-refundable deposit due upon winning bid via PayPal, balance due when picked up. I Live in Mexico (Baja), so you can pick it up or look at it in Baja or I will bring it to San Diego to deliver after deposit. There is nothing wrong with this Baja Bug that I know of except it is 46 years old. Still in good shape. I have had nothing but good luck and compliments everywhere I've taken it which includes Baja, Arizona, Nevada and California. I bought it to tow behind my RV, but I recently bought a new Jeep, so I will tow that instead and sell this Baja Bug. I will miss it..it's really fun to drive.
The mileage is 92543 today, but it could be 192543 or 292543, who knows? It’s 46 years old. It only has 400 miles on it since the speedo cable broke.
