You're looking at a 1969 Karmann Ghia, first year with the Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). It has Front Disc Brakes, 1600cc Dual Port Motor with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car runs really good, shifts, starts and stops as it should, the car handles awesome. It is a good daily driver and a nice, rare project.
Clean California title, current registration, California car. The pan on this car is rust-free. The body does need work as you can see in the pictures (see photos). There is a small rust hole where the battery sits in the motor compartment as well as where the spare tire sits, typical spots for VW's.
The motor has just had a full tune-up, oil change, plugs, top-half carb rebuilt, valve adjustment all less than 150 miles ago at a local VW shop. The interior is complete.
