1971 Volkswagen Squareback 411 Additional Info:

After much thought and reluctance, I'm selling my beautiful 1971 Volkswagen 411 Type 4. I am the second owner of the vehicle and have had her for about 3 years now. There are countless things to love about this car, one of my favorite is that it is from Germany and has a really rad metal crest built into the rear end (see photos). The Type 4 is also more rare than the Type 3, which is crazy since there are barely any Type 3 encounters. So you may wonder why I would want to part with this car? Well honestly I don't, if I had my way (and a garage, apartment living sucks) I would never even think about selling her. I would love to find someone just as enthusiastic about this car as I am, who can actually give her the time she deserves!!
The car is very well taken care of, up until about a week ago she was driven daily on small excursions such as grocery shopping, taking my kid to school, etc. with the occasional 30-45 min drive to go visit my parents. Fluids and mechanics regularly checked by my husband to assure she is performing at her best, this car has served us well over the years and aside from the work we had done recently to replace old parts we haven't had to do anything major to it.
Here's a basic list of all the awesome things this 411 has to offer you:
- LOW MILES. She only has 59000 miles
- Runs great. With older cars there will always be upkeep, with this one the upkeep has been insanely minimal outside of a recent fix in which we replaced the master cylinder (this is still under warranty and I can include paperwork proof from Bugformance Motorsports)
- All original parts aside from speakers which were added in by the previous owner
- Extremely well maintained given her age, I've included detailed pictures of every part of my car
- The only damage to the cars body is on the front passenger side near the gas tank which is super minimal (the dent does not affect the gas tank whatsoever).
