Presented here for VW Bus enthusiasts: An original, unrestored VW Camper Bus, Westfalia. Runs great and currently registered in California w/ smog receipt. Rebuilt engine about 5500 miles ago w/ receipt (see pics below). Fuel-Injection. Tires are recent. Well maintained mechanically.
Very complete interior that's in wonderful condition for its age and use. Has two beds, sink, ice box, electrical outlets for hookups, full curtain set and bug screen. Electric pump motor for water not hooked up at sink. Contains orig. Owner's Manual.Has vents under dash for factory A/C (not working).
There is rust around windows and front windshield - mostly on the brown trim at the base of windows. Front nose has some dents. Floors are in very good condition. Needs paint and body work. Paint was originally orange as shown in doorjambs. Current paint is paintbrush applied. Windshield has 3 cracks on driver's side. Slider door opens, but falls off track easily. Needs guide mechanism replaced to open/close without issues.
This is a fun bus that is currently driven & enjoyed, while being a work in progress. It's always been registered and on the road. It starts easily thanks to the fuel-injection and is very roadworthy.
This VW Bus offers lots of potential - nostalgic, investment, fun, collectable.
