Here is a One of a kind Volksrod, Ratrod, Hot rod or whatever you want to call it. This car has around 1000 miles on a completely new build. It is currently on the road & driven regularly on nice days. Is for sale locally & I reserve the right to end the auction early.
It started as an 1972 VWBug. Went through a complete pan off restoration/ build. Brand new full pans, and other chassis steel,Body was chopped 3", Wide fiberglass rear fenders, Everything all over & under this car is new ! Too numerous to list. The basic main things are :
SCAT Performance 1776 complete motor (almost $5k), Rancho Pro street 4 spd trans, Front disc brakes, Adjustable front beam, custom beam extender, dropped spindles, Scat t handle shifter with reverse lockout, smoothy chrome wheels, complete streetworks custom hotrod wiring harness/fuse/relay panel, Low back front seats & front seat belts, KYB shocks, Al's performance Header setup, Led rear lights, chrome bullet style headlights, fuel tank, custom low back front buckets, Car can come with either exhaust pipe shown, (Dual Ceramic coated mufflers or the Black stinger), there is one picture with the dual set up on the car. Also, the pictures show the engine lid with the stand offs on there, I have since removed them for a cleaner / flush look. Doesn't affect the cooling what so ever. This motor runs grea, never runs Hot.
I have a folder full of receipts for all the parts for the build, also complete breakdown & step by step instructions & info for the wiring harness. The car has all working lights (high/low beam, flashers, directionals, horn, running lights, marker lights) This car currently has no wiper set u, but can be easily added. Also, the door side windows have all the mechanisms in place for roll up windows, but doesn't have them. There is a Cal style 1 piece window kit available for around $140. It's a garage kept fair weather car, a step up from a motorcycle. If your worried about windows on the side, this probably isn't the car for you.If you don't like drawing a crowd or attention, again probably not the car for you. If someone wanted to put front fenders back on the car & remove the beam extende, you could easily ( all the fender mount holes are still there, & the beam extender is bolt in- just like the beam. ) I go to shows and get more people looking at this car than mostly anything else. Driving this car is like a big go kart, Pretty fast ! Way better than a regular bug..I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I'm selling the car because I have to many vehicles. Don't have time for all the toys !
