1968 Volkswagen Type 1 Baja Bug

1968 Volkswagen Type 1 VW Baja Bug. Fresh engine built in 2019 (see receipt) 1776cc w/40 EMPI's. I purchased this VW Baja bug to remind me of the one I had in Highschool 45 years ago. I only drive it a few times a year down to some car shows (see trophy). This car was built from the pan up by a professional body shop and VW mechanic. I am told the paint was leftover from a Lamborgini project in the body shop. The body is pretty much flawless and the fit and finish is that of a $10K paint job. You will find very small chips on the rear fenders and a couple other places. Everything on this car was refinished or replaced when the restoration occurred sometime around 2018. All electrical is new and functional with HID and LED lighting front and rear. All mechanical is functional. I have many new spares that go with the sale. Title in hand -registration last registered 2025is currently on a non-op status. All Glass is new and serialized. All new rubber throughout the car. Removable steering wheel, CB radio, Ham radio-included but not currently installed), Sun tach included but not installed. All tires are still in new condition. Wipers, turn signals, horn, HID lights, aux lights, turn signals everything is functional. The car does need some starting fluid if it has sat for a few weeks. Engine idles and runs excellent. I estimate I have put maybe 200 miles on the car. Its a beautiful car but I need the room in my garage for a new project.
