I will most likely not return any messages her, as it feels like you are not a serious buyer if you are not calling. This is a 1982 VW Vanago, was originally a diesel with a 1.6 NA engine. Now has an M-Tdi (Mechanical Td, no computer with special pump) ALH 1.9 engine. Also has a rebuilt transaxle from Rancho Transaxle in California. Van starts instantly, runs drives and stops very well. Fun to drive and gets great economy. No leaks .

Things wrong with the va, as far as I can tell, are : A) switch for blower motor for heater/ defroster stuck. B) Turbo not developing a lot of boost. New turbo, probably needs some tuning, and I have found some bolts on the exhaust manifold are loos, causing it to not boost much, and blow exhaust under the engine hatch. C) gives a little diesel/ exhaust smell in the cabin when drivin, probably because the turbo bolts are loose / one missing - Custom engine hatch to clear the injection pump is a little loose at times, too. D) one rust spot under a side window E) Squeaky front suspension bushes
Van also has a very cool Webasto-style 'Airtop style' park heater (The type of heater you can turn on independently of the van being turned on . Sips diesel and warms up the cabin very quickly and efficiently without turning the engine on!) Not a Webasto, but same style of thing.
If you like the color blue, you'll love this van. Blue inside and out, in at least three different shades. Lights all work, has bigger alloy wheels to take advantage of more powerful engine and give more relaxed cruising speed . only 148500 original miles on chassis.
What else can I tell you ? Vanagon is a rare ALH engine conversion, conversion is a bit wonk, and a little bit of a mechanical project, but priced right. Will drive anywhere, right now.
