This is a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle (Not a Super-Beetle.

Vehicle Details

I was totally out of the Volkswagen business until I saw this little jewel up for sale. It had been painted with a black rattle can, so I was obliged to rescue it. I have restored it back to its original color. Engine already ran nicely, so all I’ve done is put new plugs, points and new carburetor on to make it run perfectly.

There is no rust in this car at all even under the battery, which as you know is very rare for these cars.

Little car was disassembled during paint and I was meticulous to put new fender rubber.

Tires are about half worn.

This has been an amazing little car for us.

We are located in Auburn, Alabama, which is about halfway between Atlanta, Georgia and Montgomery, Alabama off Interstate 85.

You may pick up the car in person or I will coordinate with your shipper.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the end of this auction. The remainder must be paid in cash upon pickup or I will accept a cashier’s check and let you have the car once it’s cleared.
