Vehicle Details

1970 VW Beetle Diamond Blue. Title in hand Cash/paypal /no trades

The car is solid (to my visible eye)not including the three easily repairable areas in pictures. The lower front spare tire pane, the parcel tray behind the rear seat, and lower passenger door. I welded and repaired the driver rocker panel and the lower door hinges on both doors All areas of repaired rust were wire wheeled and sanded and treated with Ospho and painted. Exterior lights and turn signals work. Will need a wire harness at some point. The generator charges but it probably is going to need to be replaced at some point. The headliner and window gaskets are installed in the vehicle but need to be replaced. If you want it to be perfect. All original fenders. Any rust damage on mounting edge was stripped ospho treated and primed and panted. If you want perfect fenders they will need to be replaced.

The car starts up, brakes and drives. I’ve replaced the carburetor with the correct one for the 1600 cc dual port engine. New wires and plugs, air cleaner, fuel pump, rear shocks, new hub caps, painted wheels, new t bumpers, running boards, (previous owner put )new brake lines, and rear light lens. Tires like new. Right rear tire has a slow leak. Not sure if it’s the valve stem. I replaced the valve core already. No visible tire damage. Tires are like new from previous owner. The car drives straight. Front shocks will probably be needed to replaced at some point.

The carpet and door cards were discarded. They can be replaced for a reasonable price. The floor pans were replaced by the previous owner. Original oil bath air cleaner, spare tire(doesn’t hold air) and bumpers included.

I changed the oil several times and the transaxle fluid. The rear drive train looks solid and it shifts perfectly.

This car is drive able on short weekend rides as is and would make a perfect project car to take it to the next level.
