1971 Volkswagon Super Beetle convertible. Excellent condition. Fantastic driver. This car can be driven daily or just as a pleasure cruiser. The odometer shows 50356 (at the time of this listing). Unknown if its accurate. Colorado is mileage exempt after 10 years old.

Vehicle Details

Selling my wifes 1971 VW Super Beetle. Its an older restoration (approx 7-8 years ago) that was done prior to our ownership. The entire body was redone, and the drive train was gone through and rebuilt. Everything runs and drives beautifully. We were told at the time of purchase that we are the third owners.

This car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. I wouldn't hesitate driving it anywhere. This is not a perfect trailer queen. This is literally a car you can hop in to drive and enjoy. It does not need any additional work to be roadworthy and it looks fantastic.

The body and paint is great. It does have some little nicks and minor rock chips from driving this car regularly during the summer months. All of the glass is good with no cracks or hazing.

The interior needs nothing. Its all in excellent condition. The top looks and functions like new with no tears or cracks. A nice Kenwood sound system with 4 4-way speakers and Bluetooth has been added.

When we first got the car, I had the "Chineseium" carburetor removed, and replaced with a professionally refurbished Solex carburetor. I had a Pertronix ignition module installed, and a small electric fuel pump to eliminate the possibility of vapor lock. The car fires up with no problem and drives down the road at highway speeds with no issues whatsoever. Its a pleasure to drive.

I have just installed new tires (March 2nd 2026).

If you want to have the car inspected, I will do everything I can to accommodate with advance notice.

The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. I will also consider fair and reasonable offers.

The title (which is clear and in our names), and the car will only be released once it has been paid for in full. I will only accept certified, verifiable funds, wire transfers, etc.

Vehicle transport is strictly up to the buyer to arrange and pay for. I will keep the car locked up and protected in my garage until pick-up arrangements can be made.

A $1000 nonrefundable deposit will be required after winning the auction.
