1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:
Great restoration project, or for parts. I was originally going to convert this into an EV, but I have a different project car, so this one needs to move on. At the point where you can take the body off the chassis and get it painted. Here’s what it includes
Body, originally yellow, currently painted white.
Body in good conditions, some minor areas in need of repair, but minimal rust.
Chassis includes brakes, wheels, and original transmission.
2 front doors and all glass (Rubber will need to be replaced on most body parts)
Rear deck lid and hood in great shape.
Exterior and headlights with original plastic body covers.
Original dashboard and instrument cluster, read and side mirrors.
Aftermarket front and rear seats.
Ragtop roof, however it is in need of restoration, rusted and has several tear in the fabric.
Aftermarket stereo head unit.
Spare tire.
27 gal plastic totes with removed parts (bagged and labeled)
What is NOT INCLUDED:
- Engine and clutch plate.
- Fuel Tank/Fuel lines
- Rubber fittings for windows, windscreen
I do have a clean Oregon title for the vehicle. If you are interested in continuing this EV conversion, I am happy to offer my guidance/advice. I may also have some Tesla battery modules you can buy if interested. Local pickup or buyer needs to arrange transportation of body/chassis and parts.
