1988 Vanagon GL Westifalia Manual
I have this grey Westy 2.1 4 speed for 4 years now. I have about 231k on the van. I rarely got to use it as much as I want too. It been mostly stored in a garage most of the time. In 4 year I have it I put 4k miles on it. Thats including picking it up in Bend, OR and few trips to Mt Rainier and Vancouver BC. I used it for a month when my car was in the shop to get to work. The van has the original 2.1 engine with the heads and seals replaced. An injector was replaced 2 years before I purchase it. I added LED bulbs to the headlights. Headlight need to be adjusted. The wheels got updated to 16" Westy Kit and Michelins with about 4.2k. Newly replaced cv boots and repacking before I purchased it. Replaced a single CV axle before I purchased it and both are great. The oil change was done every 3k. There is a few rust spot that I applied rust stopper over it. The windshield, driver sid, and side window. Please see the images. I had 3 Seattle Vanagon shop to work on it. All 3 said would say how powerful the engine runs. I have a bunch of other new goodies that I never got to install on the Vanagon for the buyer...such a mud flaps and windows seals for all 6 windows and more stuff...Thanks for looking!
