1989 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:
1989 VW Westfalia with Subaru 2.5L Engine and Many Extras
This van is super clean and in great working order. The A/C was just tuned up so it is ready to load up for your summer adventures. The Subaru engine and cruise control make it a pleasure to drive (even uphill). Once you arrive at your destination, the camper upgrades allow you to kick back and enjoy the great outdoors in comfort.
What camper upgrades? Well, there is solar power and a big lithium battery to keep the fridge and freezer (yes, ice cream) running like a dream all summer. There is also a power inverter with ample juice to run your electric goodies (computer, coffee maker, hair dryer) and a furnace to keep you comfy even when it is cold outside. All of this was done without sacrificing cabinet space.
I have owned and meticulously cared for this van for the past 15 years. The van is a WA state native that spent a few years UT and WY. The exterior still has the original paint on the driver’s side and rear, almost no rust in seams or underneath and a few minor dings and scratches. The interior has the original upholstery, carpeting, curtains, cabinets and is in great condition (no smoking or pets).
It has a clean title and the Carfax report shows no accidents. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars maintaining, rebuilding or upgrading pretty much everything which means you won’t have to. Receipts and records from myself and previous owners along with the original VW owner’s manuals and a Bentley factory manual will be included.
