Up for sale is a very original and low milled 1966 VW Bug 1300 with only 70972 miles ever put on the car and it is a one owner from new. Yes, one lady owner from new and parked in storage in 2003. Now out of storage and ready for a new owner. A fresh tune-up and service has just been completed, by well-known My Mechanic LLC. New Carb kit, new valve cover gaskets, new spark plugs, new dist cap, new dist rotor, new dist condenser, new contact set, new ignition wire set, new fuel filter, new chock stat, new fresh air hose and other hoses. A complete brake job was completed in 2022 with new everything, also new shocks were added at the same time. (it runs and drives very nice) Clutch is smooth and it shifts nicely. (fun to drive) The body is all original as is the red paint throughout, but it does have a few scrapes and scratches and a small ding or two but still look good for its age. All glass is good, but there are 4 very small rock chips in the windshield The door windows do roll up and down as they should and look great. All lights work as dose the radio and the windshield wipers, but the gas gage is not working at this time? The interior looks very nice and is all original. (please look at all pitchers closely) This VW was bought from Bright Volkswagen of Spokane Washington on May 7th, 1966, for a total of $2014.81. Costs were $1799.00 for the car plus $35.00 for white wall tires, $24.50 for Undercoating, $69.50 for the radio, $5.95 for mirror, and $15.10 for bumper guards. The original tool kit and jack in its original bag do come with the car as dose the original window sticker and bill of sale and other paperwork.
