For sale is a 1964 VW Transporter (Bus/Van) from California, a rust-free vehicle with solid metals. It's registration is up-to-date and the title is in my name. The bus has 87,000 original miles, the engine is leak-free, and the transmission shifts well. The bus needs new tires, but it comes with a spare rim and jack.
There's a very minor layer of surface rust on the undercarriage, which I left left unpainted to show the integrity of the metal. The body itself is rust-free, and the paint is in average condition. The two vent windows, which have new rubber installed, are hard to close. Lastly, front is missing a windshield wiper and the rear window has a crack. The rest of the windows are all functional and in good condition.
This vehicle will be sold ‘as is’ with no warranty. Payment options include cash, cashier’s check, or bank wire transfer. The buyer will need to arrange for transportation, but I can recommend a good service if needed. I'm willing to keep the bus for as long as the buyer needs, and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if it is sold locally.
