1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

This 1966 Volkswagen came from the son of the original owner, with one intermediate owner. Always in California, rust free, solid, and accident free. It was originally Ruby Red, and still has the original paint in the interior, with one nice exterior repaint. Offered by The Vault Classic Cars dealership, Fullerton, CA. 714-401-1047 It has all of its original VW glass, except for the windshield, which was replaced. The front and rear valences are excellent and undamaged.

The 1600 CC Dual port engine runs great, It shifts nicely, and it has that VW bug driving feel, kind of a rubberized insulated driving feel that makes it pleasant to operate! The doors shut with that air compression that shows the car is all sealed up.

The car has had some upgrades, including the 1600, 12 volt, bigger muffler, a little tachometer, and a modern radio, and an EMPI style 3 spoke steering wheel. The tires are just a bit bigger than stock, but subtle - enough to fill out the wheelwells but not enough to interfere.

Electrically it's good, lights, tail lights, license light, wipers, horn, turn signals, speedometer, gas gauge and warning lights all work like they should.

The brakes were recently redone with new master cylinder and wheel cylinders.

the interior is beautiful, done in the stock material, and in excellent condition. The dash and interior paint is all original too, and in excellent shape.

I note the radio isn't powered up, and there's a star mark in the windshield.
