Diesel truck, 1.6L, 69K miles, runs great, solid body

I have ownedmany VWs and this diesel rabbit truck is a jewel. Factory air. Low mileage.Fires up every time!

Having sidebreezy windows that are movable and not fixed are rare for this model. I havethe breezy glass panes that you can install complete with the handles. Breeziesjust need to be glued in.

I’ve playedwith these diesel trucks thirty years and owned ½ dozen and worked on anotherfive, but the truck bed for this one tells it all…original paint and no dentsin the wheel wells! It also has the special-order rear truck bumper.

The guy Ipurchased it from owned a small, private salvage yard and had it parked in thewoods for years. This is actual mileage. He said the previous owners were anelderly couple that bought it new and said they were in their 80’s when hepurchased it from them. Engine starts every time and smokes heavy for 60seconds. I’ve had it about a year because I had to file for a title. I changedthe oil and cleaned the cab and body. The rockers, floor pans, and struts aresolid. The only rust through is around the rear slider window. The passengerseat has no tears but driver’s seat has a tear. This truck is in the mostrestorable original condition I have ever seen.

Fuel gaugeis not working. Front grill is cracked and hood is dented. I have another hoodin good condition I am selling with the truck. Dent on driver’s side in frontof the rear window.

This is myfinal VW truck sale, and I will throw in additional parts: diesel clusterspeedometers, a fuel tank, and all remaining additional miscellaneous parts.
