1966 Volkswagen Dune Buggy Additional Info:

Exterior is a 6 out of 10. Interior is a 6 out of 10. Front disk brakes, tires have good tread but cracking in between tread, drips oil and a little from gearbox. I typically have only had to add oil once since owning it and it took about a 1/4 of oil or less in the 2 years I've owned it. Has tilt wheel, all gages work. No wiper motor. Fires right up. Runs good. At times, I will shut it off and restart with a slow crank over, so the battery may be getting weak. It only weighs 1300lbs so without much weight you have to hold these tight. Has the front disc brake mod. All turn signals work and tail and headlights. Engine does not smoke. The pan is clean and this is always stored indoors. I've put about 300 miles on it. Engine was rebuild about 4 years ago. This is a 4 speed. Tops out at about 50 but I'm sure there are mods to make it go faster. It is missing a front wheel lug and stud. When having the wheels balanced last year the tech stripped it out and I had them remove it.
